8th European Pond Conservation Network Workshop

Ter -

The Institut d'Ecologia Aquàtica (University of Girona), the Council of Torroella de Montgrí  and the Museu de la Mediterrània are organizing, between May 21 and 25, 2018, in Torroella de Montgrí, the 8th European Pond Conservation Network Workshop. The objective of the workshop is to encourage debate on the functioning of ecosystems and environmental services and their response to the impacts of climate change.

The Workshop will coincide with the closure of the Life Pletera project, which is based on the complete and definitive restoration of the coastal lagoon system of the Pletera, in order to recover its ecological functionality, which has been altered as a result of the partial urbanization of the space.
